FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many weeks along should I be for my session?
This question can depend on a few factors, but I typically advise first-time mamas to schedule between 30 and 34 weeks--this is often when your bump has become prominent, but not *so* prominent that your mobility is limited and the session feels uncomfortable. If this is your second pregnancy, you're might start showing and go into labor earlier, so you may be inclined to schedule closer to the 30-32 week mark. Some women also naturally start showing earlier in general, so you may be inclined to do your session while you're still feeling great.

Can my family be included?

Of course! We'll get a good mix of solo shots of mom and full family photos.

Is my house cute enough for an in-home session?

All I really need for these sessions is a window, and a bed/chair/seating area. Even better--if you have one or two rooms with windows that are mostly tidied up (it doesn't have to be perfect--we will push laundry piles to the side as needed!)! Some families decide we're doing the whole session in the nursery or bedroom, some decide to jump between a couple of their favorite well-lit rooms, some take me around the whole house to really get a feel of the day-to-day. It is totally up to you.
